Okay, this is my first
time posting about a quote of the week so don't be too hard on me.
:/ We were studying this same exact philosophical realm a few weeks
ago in my Theory of Knowledge class and I had to write an essay
about it. My conclusion was that for some stuff, it's just plain
proven that it (the "object") is there, for instance no
matter what we
think or anyone says, the Earth still revolves around the Sun and
16 protons in an atom still equals a specific element. For that
type of stuff an objective reality does exist. But everything else,
like the statement "I am tall", are subjective. So, I
think the quote it right, (at least I think I agreed with it, it
was a little hard for me to follow) The End.
