Hello all,

In response to the recent SII post by Robert McGown on the connection between the Casimir effect and dark energy (or cosmological constant), I wanted to let you know of a work of which I am aware that attempts this connection:

It is unclear to me if this has been published as a refereed paper or as a conference proceeding, but I have spoken with Rob Caldwell recently at a workshop and I know that he at least (and possibly others that I am unaware of) is working on this topic.
