Hi everyone,

For anyone who has not seen it, the February issue of National Geographic has an excellent cover story called “Discovering the First Galaxies.” Produced in the usually excellent National Geographic style with great pictures and explanations, this article is well worth reading.

Something worth mentioning is that anyone who looks at this issue should not miss the “From the Editor” column by editor Bill Allen. He writes of his subscription to Sky and Telescope and his “lifelong obsession with the stars.” It’s good to have an astronomy lover as Editor of National Geographic.
