Your quote of the week is very well taken, and brings to mind the common saying:
"Don't just sit there, do something!"
Those who practice insight meditation sometimes display a bumper sticker saying:
"Don't just do something, sit there!"
The meaning of this bumper sticker of course is that one should sit there until she develops the insight that can sustain wise action.
